  • After much deliberation, we have decided to disable the comment feature on blog posts. This decision was not made lightly; we understand that messages of love and support can act as a catalyst for healing. While we would hope comments left on blogs would be positive, there is no certainty. As we have seen on other platforms, the ability to comment anonymously can lead to harmful repercussions, some of which may add to the pain of those who share their stories and those who are reading them.

  • Absolutely, we understand that SA is an issue that has a ripple effect and believe that this conversation needs to include survivors and non-survivors alike. Please refrain from telling a survivor’s story for them unless you are granted their permission.

  • As much or as little as you want. However, be aware that a trigger warning will be added to your entry if you choose to disclose sensitive information and that certain personal detail will be de-identified. Return to the Share My Story page to learn more about these specifics.

  • As much as we would love more student involvement in #DeacsToo, we have decided to prioritize our promise of anonymity and hold the administrative access of this project.

  • We ask that you help us keep that information to yourself as it takes away from the mission and goal of the project.
